Wandelmars also known as AVD was performed for the 48th time this year. Saturday, 14th April 2012 was the last day of 48th four days of walking year 2012.
The cultural group Mayouri Tcho Nèg from French Guyana also participated this year’s walk too with Parbo Bier as same earlier years.
I made few more stops at Johan Adolf Pengel Straat and also at Henck Arron Straat. Audience, inhabitants were laid on the route of streets even in the darkness of night. I’m sure participants created wonderful scenes, shows and everyone get great pleasure. I’m very impressed also performance of participants while they are walking approximately 15 km ( ~ 9 miles) every day with costumes, and performing their rituals, shows till returning to their start point. My congratulations and best wishes to all of them.
